Water Hazard

This was one of the "Challenges" on this year's course.

Your LBC is low on Coolant.

You have looked through your dilapidated LBC Tech book, from the boot, and discovered that this specific problem calls for exactly 8 ounces of Coolant.

Fortunately, you have stumbled upon this Oasis.

Unfortunately, the containers available for your use are only of the 9 ounce and 5 ounce varieties.

Your task is to come up with EXACTLY 8 ounces of water. Once you think you have exactly 8 ounces, give the cup to one of the judges to evaluate.

If you have the correct amount, you will have your answer sheet marked, and you may continue the Rallye.

If you are wrong, you must start the process over again.

Water is not too abundant. You may not spill the water. Any water that needs to be dumped out must be put back into the “Water Supply” Container.

You will have a 15-minute time limit. If you do not get the correct amount in that time, you will have to continue the Rallye without this question answered.

You may also skip this answer if you so choose. But remember, this answer is worth 70 points.
